We’re a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides support to children ages 7 to 17 whose parent, legal guardian or sibling fell victim to homicide. Through Camp Sheilah and our college scholarship program, we believe we can transform a child’s tragedy into a bright future. Our aim is to give kids the coping skills, grief guidance and hope to become caring, responsible people. Most importantly, we want them to know that they never walk their difficult journey alone.

The Sheilah A. Doyle Foundation was founded by a family of three siblings who lost their mother on July 3, 1993 to homicide. Understanding the importance of helping others thorough their grief, they banded together to launch the foundation in 2009. The foundation is named in their mother’s honor.
