TRACK THEIR GOODS

All your efforts will remain anonymous. SAD will follow through on your behalf and report back to you with a follow-up report of the results of your efforts.

  1. You can email us at report@sadfacts.org with names of “salon only” products that you locate in non-salon stores along with the name and location of the retailer. Also, many products have a code on the bottles. Please include this code if you can locate it, as it helps the manufacturer track down the source of this sale to the retailer. We will forward your report to the manufacturer via email and certified letter demanding action take place. Your information will remain anonymous. SAD will follow through on your behalf and report back to you with a follow-up report of the results of your efforts.

  2. You can take photographs of “salon only” products and their displays in non-salon stores along with the name and location of the retailer. Please include the product code if you can locate it on the bottle, as it helps the manufacturer track down the source of this sale to the retailer. If you can take a close-up of the product code that is visible, this would be ideal as further evidence for the manufacturer. We will forward your report to the manufacturer via email and certified letter demanding action take place. Your information will remain anonymous. SAD will follow through on your behalf and report back to you with a follow-up report of the results of your efforts.

  3. You can purchase one or more “salon only” products that you find in non-salon stores and ship them to us along with the name and location of the retailer. Please make sure there is a product code on the bottle before purchasing and be sure to include a copy of your receipt. We will forward your report to the manufacturer via email and certified letter demanding action take place. Your information will remain anonymous. SAD will follow through on your behalf and report back to you with a follow-up report of the results of your efforts. We will also attempt to have a refund from the manufacturer sent to you for your purchase.
